Cornell Heights and the town of Hamilton is currently going under a drastic change. Please don't let Hamilton CHANGE our quiet neighborhood, the traffic alone is going to be more than we can deal with! It is the biggest project in Hamilton to date.
With desire and fortitude, we now have OUR Council Members, The town spoke and they will listen.
Gilmore, as we warned everyone four years ago, took money from the tax payers for special interests. We now have a steep hill to deal with and we are all in it together.
Without your help and the help of others, our neighborhood might never be the same, continue to attend the meetings and fight for what is right and fair.
Without your help:
All the streets will be involved with heavy traffic.
Flooding of our roads and basements.
Our entire area will be more noisy and dangerous.
Our tree line will be taken out.
Basin and Princeton will be a major in/out road with a traffic light.
More traffic and speed, more accidents, more headlights.
There will be more pressure for us to conform to the new houses.
Questionable people will roam our streets from the station.
Our kids might be in more jeopardy.
The school system cannot handle the new strain and therefore our taxes will go up.
The PILOT program has taken millions from our pockets.
Everyone in Hamilton will have a rise in taxes due to the need for services.
Everyone in Hamilton will see the traffic explode throughout the town.
A new development of this size changes all the rules for future projects. The next neighborhood could be yours.
